This trip allows you to see tea plantations along the way and enjoy stunning views from Doi Luang Chiang Dao. You will also visit a Lahu village, a local waterfall, and a Shan village, and have the opportunity to try local green tea and organic coffee.

Trekking difficulty is 3 to 4 out of five, so the trek is suitable for those who enjoy walking long distances. We guarantee at least 5 hours of trekking on this trip.

 

Itinerary

• Pick up from your hotel at 07:30 am
• Drive for 1 hour to Siam tea and coffee plantations, where you will have the opportunity to try fresh tea and coffee from the farm
• Drive for 25 minutes to a higher elevation to a village where you will start your hike
• Begin the hike at an altitude of 1300-1400 meters above sea level and climb higher, enjoying the stunning views of Doi Luang Chiang Dao along the way. You will eventually reach a Lahu village, where you can explore and learn about their culture
• Continue hiking down along local trails or dirt roads to a local waterfall, where you will have lunch and relax
• After lunch, hike for approximately 2 hours to a Shan village, where you will see some tea and coffee plantations and have one final opportunity to try fresh tea or coffee
• Drive for 1.5 hours back to the Chiang Mai city center
