One day Chiang Mai cycling tour starts at 8 AM when we pick you up from your accommodation or other convenient location in Chiang Mai. A short drive takes us into traditional Thai countryside that not many tourists visit. We stop at a local village where your guide briefs you on safety rules and techniques for cycling on country roads.

We cycle to our first stop – one of the most sacred Buddhist temples on a hill. Your guide tells you ancient stories and the historical events that occurred at the temple. Please note that cycling to the temple is uphill, and if you think this part of the tour is too challenging for you, we can drive up to the temple, and start cycling afterwards.

From the temple, we descend back into the valley and visit a nearby fruit farm owned by locals. You have a chance to engage with the locals and try delicious seasonal fruit. Next, we cycle to a local market. Here you see local ingredients, vegetables, and learn techniques on how to negotiate a fair price on local goods. This will also help you to differentiate regular Thai food from Northern Thai food.

Feeling hungry? I know we are! We cycle through the beautiful landscape of northern Thailand to a small local lunch spot. You enjoy a wonderful Thai lunch and head to our final destination – an enchanted waterfall in the rainforest in the afternoon. We trek to the waterfall in the jungle Here you can kick off your shoes, relax, and cool down.

We then head back to where we started our Chiang Mai cycling tour and where your driver is waiting to drive you back to your accommodation. We look forward to sharing this once in a lifetime experience with you!
